Once again Sue Vincent’s prompt Writephoto prompt – timeless has a synchronous quality to it for me. A little over a week ago I purchased an online series of guided meditations called Mythic Listening. When I listened to the first meditation I was transported back into an experience I once had at a stone circle and standing stones. Here’s the story of my experience at the circle:-

I have only been to one stone circle in my life – Kealkill in County Cork, Ireland. The rugged mountain peaks of the Irish Uplands surround it on three sides while the fourth side opens to a view of the magnificent Bantry Bay.
I visited the circle with my oldest daughter and her young children some years ago. At that time my daughter was living with her then husband in an old stone cottage in Ireland. The youngest child, a boy, was proving to be extremely difficult and different but had not been diagnosed and was not receiving any treatment for his Autism. He had just reached an age where his differences could no longer be excused as developmental delays but becoming so obvious it was impacting on my daughter’s marriage. The boy required constant attention which increasingly fell to my daughter for her husband was retreating into serious depression punctuated by times of uncontrollable rage.
