    Sue, your Cinquain and Tanka really spoke to me this week. I have an affinity for birds, so that must be part of it too. I’ve had blackbirds and a crow hanging around lately. Crow actually brought me her baby so I could see her. ❤ This hawk (?) has the most expressive face. It is as if your words came tumbling on the wind to me. Splendid. ❤

  2. Okay. Usually, I can tell immediately, but that hawk looks an awful lot like an owl and since it has such a short beak … Owl? Hawk? Something similar but neither of these? My birdie books don’t help me with English birds. In fact, they don’t help me with birds that aren’t east coast USA. Bird books are pretty localized. I give up. What is is?
