Mists
*
Vision under stress
Clouded by survival’s needs
The seen is unseen
Unnoticed by conscious sight
Beauty passes unremarked
*
Eyes turning inward
Seeking the unsolvable
Fixate on madness
Moments slide into the mist
Their gifts unlooked-for refused
*
A pause for silence
Hearts open and receptive
Seek the inner light
Shadows reveal mystery
Cast by a rising glory
*
The photo for this week’s prompt was taken on my way to work one morning, as the sun glowed through the rising mists.
As always, I would like to thank everyone for their contibutions. I love seeing how many different stories and poems can be born from one image. I have shared as many contributions as I could during the week, but all the posts are listed below, please click on the links below to read them and leave a comment for the author! A new prompt will be published later today and I will reblog as many as I can through the week and all contributions will be featured in the round-up on Thursday.
If you have written a post for this challenge and it does not appear in the round-up, please leave a link to your post in the comments and I will add it to the list.
Come and join in!
