It does, Colleen. I first came across the word many years ago in one of the first poems I learned in French. “Le carillon, c’est l’heure inattendue et folle…” (Victor Hugo: Ecrit sur la vitre d’une fenêtre flamande) x

I can’t pronounce French at all, but I could imagine you saying these words. The sound touches me. You should record some of your poetry in French. I would listen. It’s the sounds that sometimes mean more…
