Silbury Hill, AveburyAvebury SE weekend 484

For almost five thousand years, this incredible, man-made, conical ‘pyramid’ has hidden beneath Avebury’s horizon. It is a favourite place and one at which we always stop when we pass that way…

  1. And, I have read all of them 🙂 I don’t comment on everything, but I try to at least give it a good look to see if I want to read more. Then, if I don’t have time to read it all right now, I put it in the TBD folder. You are the only blogger I know other than me who has that many posts. I’ve got just under 5400 and when I want to backup the site, I have to get the WordPress engineers to help because the automatic tools won’t work on such a huge set of files. I do a backup every January. Otherwise, I cross my fingers and hope nothing horrible happens. I would be very upset should that happen!
