This week’s photo prompt looks out through a window upon still waters …
You can find all last week’s entries in the round-up. Please visit and read the stories and poems and explore the sites of their writers.
Use the image to create a post on your own blog… poetry, prose, humour… by Wednesday 1st June and link back to this post with a pingback. Please make sure that the pingback works and if not, copy and paste your link into the comments section of this post.
Don’t forget to use the new and shiny #writephoto hashtag in your title
Due to the volume of entries, only the first few posts will feature on the blog during the week and all posts will be included in a round up on Thursday 2nd June.
Feel free to use #writephoto logo or include the prompt photo in your post if you wish or you can replace it with one of your own to illustrate your work.
Have fun!
Beautiful photo, Sue. Far too lovely for a horror story…

That’s the worst kind, and I’m maybe not strong enough to deal with that today.

I was still up at midnight, ours, so to be being walked by Ani by quarter past five seemed a little unfair… 🙂

The pingbacks are coming through, but still needing authorising… yours and a couple of others for some reason. But I can’t always get there straight away… occasionally, even I have to sleep 🙂

Hi Sue, I missed your original prompt and wrote a post about what I thought the prompt was after reading other people’s contributions. Now I discover I have written about waves rather than still water but here’s the link to my post anyway https://beinginnatureblog.wordpress.com/2018/07/02/waves/

This one is an old prompt, Suzanne, and long since over… but oddly enough, this week’s prompt is Waves…so I added you entry to that one 🙂

I thought it was Waves but when I went looking for the place to link to on your site I couldn’t find it. Sorry about that. I have been having that problem quite often lately. I wrote a response recently to what I thought was the correct prompt on your site but it didn’t seem to link properly. It was inspired by one of your prompts so I’ll put the link here – https://beinginnatureblog.wordpress.com/2018/06/18/at-dawn/

There is a search bar on the right hand side of the page that should help, or visit any one of the reblogged posts from that prompt and they are all linked back 🙂 I did find your dawn post and it was included in the round-up here: https://scvincent.com/2018/06/24/new-photo-prompt-wings-and-last-weeks-beginnings-round-up-writephoto/

Oh sorry. I find it confusing but thatcis no doubt a reflection of my current work load. Its probably time I pulled back from blogging and doing challenges quite so much

Such details are easily missed when you are busy. I can sympathise…I work seven days a week as well as working with the Silent Eye and blogging… There are only so many hours in a day after all 🙂
