“I am sure they will help.” Well, it’s alright for her!
Cause she isn’t the one who is facing the threat…
And I’ve hardly had any responses as yet!
If I don’t fill my calendar with Santa’s letters
It’s me who’ll be wearing the antler-shaped fetters
While she clicks the camera, up close to my face
And puts the pics out there, all over the place!
So, I’m feeling a little bit down in the dumps
And I’m hoping my furry friends all come up trumps.
And will send in their notes, lend a small dog a paw,
Cause I’ve typed till I don’t think I can any more.
Antlers are for Reindeer!
If you would like to help save Ani from a fate (she says) worse than death, send your Letters to Santa, festive memories, short stories, flash fiction or poems to the Small Dog. She will post them every day through December until Christmas.
She would especially like to hear from her four-legged or feathered friends (she has a special place very close to her heart for turkeys)… but she says that two-legs are better than none, so she will accept submissions from humans too.

I’m not, my granddaughter was five the other day… which means presents and lots of cuddles. She got a virus for her birthday too, bless her. It would seem she has shared it… 😦

Oh, I can just imagine. My dog used to think it was punishment. I had to bribe her to wear them to take once lousy picture before she shook them off. LOL!

Ani if you need another I have a poem about the fairy that fell off of the Christmas tree or even one about the tree itself, or even a ghost story.. We don’t want you in antlers because my silly two legs will make me keep you company if you don’t get enough stories !!!
