Wonderful birds, such characters. I love them. My nan used to have one as a pet – it would come and visit her every day, have some food and sit on her shoulder.

We had a feral pair in the village until recently. I rather miss them.

I’d miss them too, they just ooze character and I love their quirky calls. I’ve got a photo somewhere of nan’s jackie on her shoulder. It was a pretty sizeable load – but she’s smilling! π
