About Sue Vincent

Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue  passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

Super purple haiku, Sue. I love those little purple flowers – we’ve got them all over our front lawn. Do you know what they’re called? I agree they don’t get the attention they deserve! 🙂

They are selfheal, prunella vilgaris, I think…an old herb used for a lot of folk treatments.

It does. The old names linger for many herbs and their lore takes us back centuries 🙂 Have you come across the Cotton MS Vitellius C III? An illustrated herbal from the early years of the last millennium… well worth a look ( there’s a digital version online). x

Ooooh no, I’ll look it up. Sounds fascinating. I’m really into herbal medicine. Have a lot of faith in it. 🙂
