He was drowning within the depts of his soul,
no one saw his struggles or his suffering alone.
He sought his penance drowning his sorrows in the sea,
release his body, mind, and heartache… At least he would be free.

The rhythm at first, makes it seem innocent.. but the words cut through the skin, and the simplicity of it all, the quiet acceptance gave me chills. Beautiful poetry
