A lost love ~ A heart for Africa #writephoto

She stood on the beach, watching the waves roll onto the sand, the spray of the water stung her pale cheeks. This was where they used to come–her young lover and she. It had been foolish getting involved with one of her students but desires outweighed common sense. He was seventeen and she was twice his age. She had tried to fight her attraction because of her Christian faith which warned against committing adultery but every time she saw him, her resolve weakened until one afternoon, she encouraged him to come to the beach with her. It was a hot day and a dip in the sea would cool them off, she said. He agreed to go. She could tell by the way he looked at her that the attraction was mutual.
