Splash – ‘C. M. Smile #writephoto

Wandering along the willowy path,
I heard a bubbling brook
Flickering wings! Fairies taking a bath!
Look nothing from the books.
They splashed and jittered across the water,
Ducking and skittering about.
And among them was a playful otter,
How many fairies, I couldn’t count.
I left the folly without a word,
Leaving them to their happiness.
I hear the call of a hummingbird
Calling them home, I guess.
