Fall has been masquerading as winter for much of the last three weeks here in New England, until yesterday, when fall was masquerading as winter masquerading as spring (the last of the previous snowfall melted in 50°F weather).
Terrific picture! (We can always count on you to notice — and capture — moments.)

The droplets were frozen solid on the leaves and looked like polished crystal, sparkling in the sun. Our local snowman is now no more than a carrot and a pile of pennies strewn on the grass… and it is getting dark by half past three in the afternoon.
But tomorrow is the solstice and, already, the days will be getting longer 🙂
