The photo for this week’s prompt was taken at Rivington, in Lancashire. The tower is the Pigeon Tower, part of an extensive and eccentric Edwardian landscape laid out by Lord Leverhulme. The top floor of the tower was once used as a sewing room by his wife. Close by are the remains of an ancient hillfort, topped with the beacon tower of the Pike.
As always, there were wonderful poems and stories and I would like to thank everyone who took part. There were too many entries to reblog them all this week, but all the posts are listed below. Please click on the links below to visit the posts and leave a comment for the author! A new prompt will be published later today and I will reblog as many as I can through the week and all contributions will be featured in the round-up on Thursday.
If you have written a post for this challenge and it does not appear in the round-up, please leave a link to your post in the comments and I will add it to the list.
Come and join in!

Hiya Sue, Sorry my pingback must not have worked (the one time I didn’t do a separate one! Lol). Here is my entry:- https://new2writing.wordpress.com/2017/10/18/the-old-tower-writephoto/

That was a hell of a lot of stairs to walk up just to do a little sewing.
