The photo for this week’s prompt was taken on the River Wye beneath Monsal Head. There are many tales about that valley… some are legends, some are true… and some blur the boundaries between realities. We have sought ancient sites there found unexpected giants and failed to reach places we still need to see. It is a place of great beauty where tragic tales are whispered by the trees. But here at the waterfall, I have seen only the joyful creature in the river, wearing wildflowers and chasing butterflies.
As always, there were wonderful poems and stories and I would like to thank everyone who took part. I have shared as many as I could, in the order in which they were posted, and wish I could have shared them all. They are all listed below, though so please click on the links below to visit all the posts and leave a comment for the author! A new prompt will be published later today and I will reblog as many as I can through the week as they come in and all contributions will be featured in the round-up on Thursday.
If you have written a post for this challenge and it does not appear in the round-up, please leave a link to your post in the comments and I will add it to the list.
Come and join in!

These photos of your are so exotic I am always surprised to find they are from the UK. Your entry is just as I would expect, lovely. I remember wearing flowers in my hair…….

They are all from our little island. There is more beauty here than we remember half the time.
These days, for me, it usually ends up being feathers, not flowers 🙂

I love this photo Sue, so I’ve written a story for it even though you’ve moved on to other things 🙂
