In Emma World

Dilapidated.

Crumbled walls, rotten rafters,

Exposed, derelict,

Structure reclaimed by Nature;

Cosy cottage no longer.

Amongst the ruins

Varied wildlife seeks shelter:

Birds on beams, dormice,

Insects in the undergrowth;

Not a house, yet still a home.
