Photo prompt round-up – The Tunnel

There were some great entries for the photo-prompt this week. There have been some issues with disappearing pingbacks that have plaguing WordPress this week. If you created a pingback and your post is not listed, please let me know in the comments and I will add your post to the list. Thank you to everyone who has joined in!

Small as he is, it is still a tight squeeze. The stone lintel of the doorway scrapes his shoulders as he wriggles through and earth clings to the tear-streaked face.

What if there are skellingtons still in there? Or snakes…or an angry badger?

At least it is shelter.

Spiderwebs stretch unbroken across his face, but the tunnel opens up, swept clean by the passage of …something….

Standing up, his head disturbs the phosphorescent roots that light the way. From outside it hadn’t looked much bigger than a fox’s earth. But he is fairly sure that foxes don’t play music….

Excellent Sue. Another great round up and some new writers too. What a great variety of stories your photo has created from the sweet and magical to the dark and eerie. I really look forward to these each week. KL ❤

  4. I really meant to do this one, but then there was Gibbs and we’ve been all over the place and I just didn’t do it. Mind you, I’ve saved the prompt and realized I was a tad late when the new one showed up a little while ago. Oh well. Oops.

Some great entries, Sue! This one passed me by, sadly – though I may come up with something one day 🙂
