About Sue Vincent
Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.
Beautiful, Sue. I’m always struck by how much the picture I have from hearing your words differs from the picture I get after reading your tags. How much is understanding based on context rather than the specific words used I wonder. It fascinates me. I first thought of people, then large wild animals like wolves or deer who guard places, trees (but trees don’t walk, so I dismissed that.) I would have never guessed sheep. 🙂

The image is two horned sheep on the moor… although ‘farmed’ they live wild and they certainly guard the pathways.
The images suggest a context… but never the only one.

These are so remarkable. I can stand for hours watching/waiting for big horn sheep to come down off the Rocky Mountains. They are like mountain spirits

The moors are full of sheep grazing wild… I love knowing they are there. A real link with how things ‘should’ be somehow.

I reminded mine that it is the same air that the dinosaurs breathed ( any maybe not just breathed 😉 )
