Hi Sue, I’m finally free again! And what a lovely haiku to come back to. Love ‘old fashioned allure’. It really is a vintage-style rose, isn’t it? Nice to see the colour painting the world – gives us hope. 🙂

It is…and this one, though a very new breed of rose, captures all the perfume you could wish for 🙂

I’d never have thought that was a new breed. Funny how we associate certain looks with time periods, isn’t it. But even looking at it I can tell it’s scent must be strong and lovely. 🙂

David Austin launched this one in 2018… yet it looks like something that would have been around for centuries. It is gorgeous though.
