Becoming

First rose

Yet to open

Summer’s grace in waiting

Unformed beauty still becoming

Spring’s gift

All that will be is held within

Latent potential blooms

Growing from earth

To light

Butterfly cinquain for Colleen’s poetry challenge

About Sue Vincent

Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue  passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

Our climbing rise has started sending out tentative scouts to check out the lay of the land, but we had a few flurries of snow this afternoon, so I suspect they’re sending back messages telling the troops to wait just a bit longer. 🙂

  13. Gorgeous pictures and sumptuous poem 🙂 The butterfly cinquain suits the words very well, as the shape could also be interpreted as a budding flower. A welcome introduction to the joys of Spring 🙂
