‘Butterflies’ #midnighthaiku

Baby ‘butterflies’

Wings of hope and renewal

Joy born of sorrow

On his rebirthday, my son brought home five baby butterfly koi for his pond. It seemed the right thing to do in the circumstances. New life taking flight.
