I desperately need a place like this at the moment! The local pond will have to suffice…

Wonderful peaceful flowing water and words. This looks beautiful – is it in Yorkshire or dare I hope it’s local?

This one is Derbyshire… just beneath Fin Cop, a place with a history less than peaceful.

We have written a fair bit about the place and the area…as well as the ‘faery castle‘ below it and the legend of Hulac Warren…but Fin Cop is on private land and we have yet to get permission to go there.

Ah, I remember the faery castle – wonderful area. I’ll take a look at the others too. It all looks very special. 🙂

It is, but I wish someone would let us up to Fin Cop itself… I meet a brick wall every time I try.

That must be frustrating. I hope you do manage to get up there – I’m sure it’d be worth all the hassle. 🙂

What a lovely poem and the two photos show water as calm and peaceful and as untamed. Perfection! xx
