As the summer days are winding down, fall is starting to appear. The air is cooler in the mornings and the leaves are changing colors and starting to fall in spots. The deserted area used to be an old summer camp. In its peak, twenty-five years ago, this place was packed every summer, and there had been waiting lines to get a spot.

When they put that highway in, the area lost its touch with nature. Over the years people lost their interest due to its closeness to civilization, which was ever moving closer. All you can hear was the traffic out on the road, no birds are heard over the noise, and eventually, it had closed.
