England is a quite temperate… we seldom get the blaze of colour, but autumn is still lovely.

Yes, there’s a lot of scattered rain in Portland, Oregon also. Local people are so used to it. It would be odd for me to use an umbrella because no one does, 🙂

No… we seldom use them either. I have one…but never think to take it anywhere.

The thing is that the scattered rain was also patchy in Portland. One spot is raining, another area might be sunny with a rainbow.

I remember that. It was a pouring rain. My husband’s cousin (in London) decided not to take us on a ride in his boat but have barbecue in the rain. Before we were ready to eat, the rain stopped. 🙂
