As she walked along the long passage towards the door at the end, she felt as if she was moving towards a portal to another life. Her long, black cloak flapped around her ankles and her stomach churned with anticipation. Her black hat sat uncomfortably on her head. As she glanced around she caught the excited expressions on her peers faces.
