‘Look Mummy! A horse in the sky!’
‘Don’t be ridiculous Ellie. You mean in the field.’
‘No Mummy! It’s a merry-go-round horse hanging in the sky all by itself. It’s beautiful. Do you think I could ride it?’
‘Ellie. Darling. Horses are not in the sky, but if we find a fair whilst we’re away and it has a merry-go-round, of course you can have a ride. But for now, please be quiet. Mummy’s concentrating on the road and doesn’t have time for your chatter.’
