Sorry to hear about your exploding computer Sue!

Here is this week’s Writephoto challenge.

The circle of thirteen was complete.
Amid the orgy of naked lusting bodies, the chanting began, calling the Devil to rise.
They offered their sacrifice and as the blood flowed, the coals erupted, hot and fiery, a forbearer of another life.
The flame shaped, a tail and horns clearly became defined.
The crescendo gained momentum, the ritual almost complete, as Lucifer’s eyes glared
from the heated mass.

Surprise as his ally, a lone figure rushed forward with a phial of Holy Water.
He threw it into the flame, holding his crucifix aloft.
The screams were heard above the cacophony of worship as the image receded back into the fire, angry, unfulfilled and incomplete.
The disciples, their circle and trance now broken, became disoriented and confused as they disbanded into the night.
