Ambiguity in Perspective

Within the freedom of flight
lie limits. Mobility,
a matter of perspective.

Ask the crow eyeing
traffic, crossing to feed
on a busy highway.

Or the wren, eyes blank,
neck bent as it lies
on the doormat, proud

cat never once looking
to the sky. Freedom, seldom
served, more often taken.
