Ani’s Advent – Christmas Alphabet

C is for the cheese she’s stashing in the fridge tonight

H is for the ham that’s going to make my breakfast right

R is for the raisins that I cannot have at all

I is for the icing, if I’m lucky, she’ll let fall

S is for the salmon that we have to start the meal

T is for the turkey that I share, or that’s the deal

M is for the mandarin, just like a little ball

A is for my antics as I chase it down the hall

S is you, dear Santa, and you’re coming soon to me….

…and I’m hoping I’ll find

some new tennis balls

beneath the tree for me!

    Great song, Ani. And I hope you get your wish from Santa (do you know exactly HOW good we need to be? Is there a little wiggle room in there? I sure hope so, for both our sakes).

    Tennis balls are too big for my mouth – so Mom has to find littler balls (at the Amazon store mostly). I already have a bunch, but I hope Santa brings me a few of the fuzzy kind – they’re my favorite of the balls, but my frizbees are my VERY favorite.

    hahaha simply loved your awesome penned words and so cute pic of your little angel. Ya what if dogs too could sing. We have a golden retriever and she too is a darling and when my children pet her she goes in roars of laughter but in her silent way. Loved your post Sue.

    Ani, I do believe you are in for a great Christmas, including some more tennis balls.You should have lived with us when I was growing up. My Dad was a part-time tennis pro and of course I played – we had tennis balls everywhere. Merry Christmas to you and your two-legged!
