The Office – Walking with a Smacked Pentax

Reblogged, in a spirit of utter envy, from James at Walking with a Smacked Pentax...

Sheltering from the torrential rain behind a dry stone wall with a good friend, and talking for ages about previous expeditions. Sharing a hot drink and a sandwich – literally miles from the nearest path, and watching a pair of red kites float beautifully across this exceptional landscape, diving and entwining together as they scavage for food.

I would rather be out here than in an air conditioned office in the middle of a city any day. This place is fused in my DNA.
