Silent Observer
Smiling, watching familiar souls pass
On the moors that silently call
Intrepid travelers to
Seek knowledge and insight
He lauds their mission
Acknowledging
their presence
With a
Smile
After reading Circles Beyond Time – On Edge at The Silent Eye, I was inspired to write this nonet, also inspired by an image in that post (edited here for a more impressionist feel).
Nonet ~ a poem of nine lines and a syllable pattern of 9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1, with rhyme optional

Very nice
