‘We really need to do this?’ She nodded, not that he saw. ‘The test audience reaction to the idea was 62 percent positive, 15 percent indifferent and…’

‘Yes, yes I know the numbers.’

‘It meets the channels’ diversity targets by over 71 percent, is 59 percent inclusive and rates at four and two eighths stars on the cuddlometer.’ He stopped and glared at her.

‘You made that up?’

She grinned. ‘It’ll work. Believe me, it ticks all the boxes…’

‘Including ticking me off,’ he growled.
