Really exciting. This is the most exciting archaeological news since finding Richard II. I wanted to be an archaeologist, way back when I was a kid. Thanks!!

I had seen this news, as well, and shared it on my FB page. It’s interesting not only for the links to Camelot, but also for all the remains of items found on the spot. I was intrigued by all the “luxury goods” from the Mediterranean and elsewhere that show how connected the site was to trade routes.

It is easily forgotten how far back the international trade routes began…long before what we think of history.

This is really exciting news! Thanks for sending it on to us! I am reading the Bernard Cornwell’s Last Kingdom series and have learned a lot through those books about the nature and intensity of trading that went on with Magna Britannia. This history is just fascinating.

I hope they fit a bit more evidence of Arthur, but not too much, that would spoil the whole Mystery. 🙂

The ‘real’ Arthur goes way deeper in our history and folklore than any archaeologist will ever unravel 🙂
