War Of The Roses from Hugh’s Views and News #writephoto

Reblogged from Hugh’s Views and News in response to the photo prompt:

An English Country Garden, Roses, The Sound Of Bumble Bees? What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

“This is the last of two specimens.”

“It’s so beautiful.”

“This particular species of rose wiped out the rest of the rose population. We’re still working on how it managed to wipe out every single other species of rose on the planet and believe we are almost at the point of finding its secret—”

“Professor Oliver” came a voice from the other side of the laboratory door, “Doctor Stemming is on the phone wanting to speak with you urgently.”

  1. Sue, thanks for reblogging. I’m jumping up and down here because your Pingback worked (as you know I’ve had no incoming Pingbacks for over a week). However, the Pingback ended up going to a completely different post to ‘War of the Roses.’ It ended up on one of my other blog posts even though the links in your post go to the right post. Looks as if WordPress are working on the problem and haven’t quite figured it out yet.

  2. There are pingbacks getting completely lost … and pingbacks going to the wrong places. Pinging here, there, and everywhere. They finally fixed mine. I wish you the best of luck!

    • Looks like they are working on each affected blog one by one then. That’s good news that they fixed yours. I’m glad I reported the problem to them because I think there are many bloggers who have not reported the problem to them.
