Giant phoenix appears in stunning Northern Lights display over Iceland

The lights were particularly playful, said photographer Hallgrimur P. Helgason.

An Icelandic photographer has taken the most striking Northern Lights picture yet – a dramatic image which seems to show a phoenix rising from the aurora borealis.
