About Sue Vincent
Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.
Sounds like a riddle. 🙂

Is there any other meanings to it?

It can be something strange, puzzling or obscure…or a story like a book or play… or a truth that cannot be known except through divine revelation… a holy rite or sacrament…or a scene from the life of the Christ. So this haiku has multiple levels of meaning… and each one holds a mystery 🙂

Wonderful Haiku. That mask is amazing. How did it get there? Who carved it, and with what?

The carving is part of a Saxon Cross, about 1200 years old. https://scvincent.com/2015/03/02/back-to-bradbourne/

Mysteries in plain sight fascinate me. Beautiful notion in the haiku. We have to feel beyond the surface to understand.
