About Sue Vincent
Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.
Such a great haiku that matched the ancient photograph.

What a great and clever haiku. You’ve taken an old, worn carving and found something profound to say about it.

It speaks for itself, Bun… though its language is so old and slow we can barely hear it any more 🙂

I imagine it probably slips the notice of my many visitors. Even tourists often seem to be in a terrible rush these days, particularly if they’re part of a group tour. 🙂

Yes, that’s sadly true… “Oh we did London yesterday and Paris the day before….” 😦

That’s so true. I occasionally meet people who have been on a group tour and say they have “seen Europe” in a week!

Living in Paris, long ago, I saw that a lot…but as they were always so excited about it, you could only smile.

Actually, it just occurred to me that I’m I probably shouldn’t talk. The group tour members have at least had a day in Paris, which is an entire 24 hours more than I’ve ever had! I’m envious, by the way, that you had a chance to live in Paris. It must have been exciting.

But if you’ve never been , you won’t go home and pretend you know it like the back of your hand 🙂
It was the most exciting, wonderful, emotional and just joyful time… I love that place!
