Doomsday: Scions of Albion – a new book, now available

X heather weekend 152…“We weren’t imagining the highland cattle,” I say as we approach the moor in the Silver Bullet.
“I never thought we were imagining them.”
“But you know what I mean don’t you? Time seems somehow less stable when you encounter such supposed historical anomalies.”
“I’m hardly likely to disagree given my proclivities,” smiles Wen, “but what makes you say that we weren’t imagining them.”
“Mr Harris alludes to them. He has a walk which takes in the Eagle Stone. They must hang out around there.”
“Does he mention the deer too?”
“No, there is no mention of the deer.”
“Does that mean we were imagining the deer?”
“Well you can scratch the ‘we’ because only you saw them,” I say, bristling somewhat at Wen’s incontrovertible logic.
“But I showed you the photographs.”
“You did, and the photographs should rule out any chance of imagining anyway.”
“They don’t though, do they?”
“No, damn it, they don’t. Are we going mad?”
“We’ve always been mad,” says Wen swinging the Silver Bullet left in front of the sign post which points up the hill towards Shillito wood…

Book Three of the Doomsday Series

Stuart France & Sue Vincent

“There had better be a damn good reason for all this…”
Wen has a plan and a dangerous glint in her eye. The crow bar and air rifle are not reassuring. Neither is the presence of a black-clad figure in the back seat of the car…

Albion, a land where standing stones choose to disappear and time itself is unreliable. Ancient stone, Norse gods, and the legendary staff of Joseph of Arimathea … Don and Wen are back on the trail, delving deep into mythology and symbolism to unravel the secrets of the Old Ones.

This time they are not alone. What is the mysterious Black Shade that haunts them as they seek answers to arcane riddles in a magical landscape.

And why is Ben wearing a balaclava?
