Deep breath

Inhale and exhale

How wondrous to be in the presence

Of something so ancient, something so intriguing

A part of the human spirit from a long long time ago

It makes the hair stand at the back on my neck

When I see the path inviting me to visit history

The circle of stone, the dance of unknown souls

I tread carefully so as not to disturb those

Who have lived here for centuries, waiting

I breathe and see

What I’ve imagined in my dreams so often

I see it finally!
