Two brothers were playing in the forest by the murky lake when Damien spotted something glinting on the ground. He picked it up and it was a mirror. Before he knew it, it had absorbed him, and he disappeared.

Simon, not far behind, saw Damien vanish and the glinting object fall to the ground. He came over and picked it up, and was absorbed, too.

They were disoriented, not knowing where they were and not knowing where the other one was. They soon realized that they were in the murky lake, but still did not know where their brother was.
