Yo peeps, participating in Sue’s Photo Prompt this week. It’s such a beautiful photo. I want to leave my office, pack my bags and get lost in the mountains somewhere. But I guess for now I just have to suffice with dreaming. Anywho… here’s what the photo has inspired me to compose.

How often have I

Sneaked off into the woods

And nestled solemnly

In the lush green hoods

I have watched

The river flow by

And envied the birds as the fly
