It is that time of the year when you ring in a new year. All around I hear people saying the time has come.
Boisterous shrieks of joy and laughter rent the air, escaping through every single crevice and wall and in and out of strobe lit clubs and hideously bedecked and bejeweled farmhouses of the nauseatingly moneyed classes.
But then what about the poor; the hapless, the havenots who cringe and converge around dark alleys, those who crumble and shake and lie awake all night under super flyways and skywalks and shaking bridges over which breeze past the corrupt and debauched__singing, smoking, dancing and indulging their hedonistic fantasies to the hilt unmindful of the other half of humanity, the forgotten children of a lesser God.
