Thats part of a dog doing what a dog must do. Our first Afghan Kelly, (bi-lingual Italian/English) loved rolling in dead fish on the beach. Once I had to drive 100 k with that lovely smell in the back seat. Does Ani ever find dead fish?

We live a long way from the sea and lakes… so no, though there was a frog… I can imagine the stench having lived closer to water with two dogs…
She is fascinated by the aquarium fish though.

I saw a TV ad for a really cool dog shower deal–it looks almost like a hula hoop, hooked to the garden hose. So it’s a very controlled shower, not traumatic–I gather that the pets they interviewed 🙂 liked it!

I’ve tried her with a gentle shower… the only water she likes, other than her bowl, is in stagnant ponds and muddy streams…
