This week’s photo prompt:
Standing in the waves, looking out to the west, a mysterious island appears on the horizon…
Use the image to create a post on your own blog… poetry, prose, humour… by Wednesday 6th July and link back to this post with a pingback. Please make sure that the pingback works and if not, copy and paste your link into the comments section of this post.
Don’t forget to use the #writephoto hashtag in your title so your posts can be found on Twitter.
You can find all last week’s entries in the round-up. Please visit and read the stories and poems and explore the sites of their writers.
The first few posts will feature on the blog during the week and all posts will be included in a round up on Thursday 7th July.
Feel free to use #writephoto logo or include the prompt photo in your post if you wish or you can replace it with one of your own to illustrate your work.
Have fun!

Hi Sue, what I forgot to say was how perfect a photo this is. The angle of the shot, the reflected sun, the waves…all bring it to life. I could feel the spray, taste the salt. ☺ Thanks for that, and for the inspiration. ❤️

So could I… I was up to my ankles getting this one 🙂

Hi Cheryl, thank you! Yes, your pingback came through but needed approving. Some do for some reason 🙂

Oh, yikes! I imagine she is a small dog who isn’t too fond of baths..?

Hehe, my old spaniel was much the same. Spent most of his time in the bath trying to get out of the bath. Meaning we all took a bath. That was if we could catch him first…

Sounds like Ani . As I’d been gardening all day, then cleaned the aquarium, I thought I might as well take the plunge and bath her before I made it into the shower… I was the wetter of the two of us.
