About Sue Vincent
Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

A wonderful take on the words and a powerful haiku to move the emotions of any reader. And what a fascinating photo. The only ice we ever see is from the freezer in our fridge. off to get some now as the temp crawls to 41 o C today.

Thanks, Denis. This was taken beside a lake… the waves were casting up spray which was freezing almost instantly.

Beautiful, Sue and I’m glad it’s fresh water. We were watching the same phenomenon on the Maine coast a while back, and when it’s salt water, you can bet your bottom dollar it’s too cold to be outside!
