Mental health is something we tend to gloss over, but its impact upon indviduals, their physical health and the wellbeing of their friends and family. In the UK one in four of us will be affected by mental health issues; I share a glimpse into a time when I was one of those statistics.

About Sue Vincent
Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.
Thanks for sharing your inspirational story, Sue, which many might keep private out of fear of some sort of stigma. However, you show great strength and in recovery, can provide an example for others that healing and health can be regained.

That is such a problem, Eliza… the stigma still attached to mental health issues. No-one gets the same reaction for a virus or physical condition. It needs to be realised how often such things touch our lives.
