In winter’s cold hand
Warmth and hope a distant dream
Spring grows in darkness

Beautiful, Sue,and perfect timing as we approach the shortest day. Apologies for my absence recently, by the way, but I had to ban myself from blogging in the end because of a particularly difficult and long TMA that I’ve just submitted now and am glad to see the back of! Sadly, with ludicrous hours spent working, together with Christmas preparations and three and a half hours of school run a day, something had to give. But at least I can tick the biggest box as done now, and get on with catching up for Christmas and my mead quest! Hope all’s well with you and yours. 🙂

I had a feeling you had an assignment on your plate as well as everything else, Alli. Glad that is ‘all’ that kept you offline 😉

It is just that, Sue. It’s been extremely hard, working into the wee small hours a lot – that and having two sick kids to look after last week. Still, all’s well that ends well – hopefully. Nice to be back in touch, and to catch up. 🙂

Glad the kids are feeling better by the sound of it… motherhood is hard work sometimes 😉
