WHY DID THE SHEEP CROSS THE ROAD? A writing prompt from Sue Vincent.
Why does anything — or anyone — cross a road? “To get to the other side.” But. What was so important that it goaded a vulnerable sheep to risk an angry farmer to reach that elusive other side?

About Sue Vincent
Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.
It has a strange walking motion. Look how close the rear legs are relative to the motion of teh front legs.

My son’s school has an ag farm and if I had a school load of teenagers all around me, I’d be crossing the road too! A local friend of mine has a pet sheep and oneday he got out and she had to try and find him. We live in a beach area on the North of Sydney. While backyard chooks are common, it is hardly sheep territory and she felt like a really weird asking locals if they’d seen a sheep. She was a teacher at my son’s school and the sheep used to spend a bit of time there too. You coud say it was his holiday home.

I can imagine that must have seemed a bit strange 😀

You don’t see many sheep surfing or sunbaking, do you? Well, at least, I hope not!

I wouldn’t mind seeing them though 🙂

I’m curious to know how you got it to reblog. But actually, I’m even MORE curious to know why I was able to reblog YOU when I haven’t been able to reblog anyone else, not even my own stuff. I have to contact WordPress. I have a feeling this is a continuation of the problem I had (which they fixed) with pingbacks not working a couple of weeks ago. When I click reblog, nothing happens. If I get persistent, it opens the “like” gadget. So it’s a software glitch. But yet … it let YOU through. I guess you have the magic key!

I couldn’t reblog from your site, so used the ‘Press this’ app, which seems to work quite well, plus it allows you to schedule reblogs.
