Sue Vincent was a Yorkshire born writer, esoteric teacher and a Director of The Silent Eye. She was immersed in the Mysteries all her life. Sue maintained a popular blog and is co-author of The Mystical Hexagram with Dr G.M.Vasey. Sue lived in Buckinghamshire, having been stranded there due to an accident with a blindfold, a pin and a map. She had a lasting love-affair with the landscape of Albion, the hidden country of the heart. Sue  passed into spirit at the end of March 2021.

    Lovely, Sue. But I hate that those things kill hundreds of thousands of birds and bats, especially bats, every year. Could end up being a huge pollen for crops needing pollinators.

    My love sees a vast field of windmills on the (hourlong) commute to work. The windmill field keeps getting bigger, slowly but gradually, every year. Eventually all the wind blowing across the peninsula will be stopped by the windmills and won’t that be exciting, as we have all this surplus air dropped down on route 27?

    Great photo depicting Isolation, Sue. Those sheep look so tiny compared to the isolated monster. Like the photo I posted I think the black and white give the subject a more isolated feel.

    love this – so moody. U was just talking to sarah brentyn about black and white vs colour. Interesting the reasons for people preferences.

      Colour distracts from form a lot of the time… and will such as the Halloween shots, it does allow for creating more of a mood.

        Yeah – so my thoughts were similar – I think black and white are more emotional – a kind of language that everyone can understand – but colour photos show uniqueness in a way black and white can’t – and by that i mean Sarah posted the same photo twice, once black and white once colour. The black and white was certainly more emotive – but what was missing was her essence – in the colour one you saw that in her hair she had a flash of purple… its was unique, and gave you an insight into what was really her, something you couldn’t get from the black and white. That being said I really do adore Black and white photos! I’m constantly turning colour ones black and white!

          Both have their place and I love monochrome. As you say, you can convey many emotions through it, though for joy and the quirks of personality, I think you have to have the colour.
