Illustrator, graphic designer and writer, Michelle Rene Goodhew tagged me in the 777 Writing Challenge. ‘The 777 challenge requires you go to Page 7 of your work-in-progress, scroll down to Line 7 and share the next 7 sentences in a blog post. Once you have done this, you can tag 7 other bloggers to do the same with their work-in-progress.’
My extract is from Doomsday: Scions of Albion, written with Stuart France and due for release very shortly, an esoteric adventure through the landscape of Albion.
“It could though be a Fetch.”
“Aren’t Fetches supposed to be Doppelgangers?”
“Well it’s funny you should say that… I’ve been meaning to show you,” says Wen, flicking through the shots on her camera. “There, look at that one!”
The shot is of me sitting on a stile just as I am about to take the wrong path through the forest, only I appear to have two heads.
“It’s just a double exposure,” say I, assuming nonchalance I do not feel.
“Except that you don’t get double exposures on a digital camera.”
Should they choose and have time to participate… and if they haven’t already!.. I nominate: Olga Núñez Miret, Alienora Taylor, Judith Barrow, Diana Wallace Peach, Deborah Jay, Geoff le Pard, and Marcia Meara

My pleasure, Ali 🙂 Every little bit of exposure helps…
And I can imagine the immediate response to that 😉 xxx
